  • Burnt Orange: Squash/Pumpkin

Squash and pumpkin are colorful autumn foods you can use for savory and sweet recipes! They're delicious when roasted with olive oil and spices. Or, you can turn them into tasty desserts (like butternut squash donuts!) or even drinks. Squash is fiber-rich and allows you to add a creamy consistency to foods without adding calorie-dense foods like butter or cream.

  • Red: Onion and Apple

Onions and apples are two fall-time foods that you can enjoy year-round! Onions are great in everything from soups to stews to sandwiches and salads. Apples are deliciously sweet (or tangy!), depending on the variety you choose.

Combine the two by creating delicious stuffing with sausage! Try using a Multifunction Rice Cooker when creating stuffing, as it can keep the stuffing warm even after cooking. Additionally, this model has a nonstick interior so that you won't have any stuffing left behind.

  • Maroon: Pomegranate and Cranberries

Pomegranates and cranberries are a beautiful maroon color and full of nutrients such as vitamin C (pomegranate arils) and antioxidants (both). Pomegranates make for an excellent snack by themselves, on top of yogurt, or in delicious smoothies. Cranberries are great as a tangy juice, dried, or tasty sauce for the holidays.
